K-Showcase

As part of our mission to share and celebrate Korean culture with the greater Houston community, the K-Showcase offers a platform for performers of all backgrounds to showcase their creativity and passion. Whether through music, dance, comedy, poetry, or other unique talents, this is your chance to take the stage and be part of something special.

Join us in creating an unforgettable showcase that brings people together through art and performance. Singing, dancing, instrumental, magic, etc. Dancer: we accept covers, noncompetitive choreography & exhibition performances for this showcase. Singer: We accept covers, original works are subject to approval.

K-Pop Dance Competition

Hosted by Soundbox Dance Studios and Korean-American Society of Houston - Generously sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea

Soundbox & KASH are teaming up to create a one-of-a-kind K-Pop Dance Competition on October 12th, 2025, at Discovery Green Park during KFEST. The show will begin at 5:00 p.m. on the main stage and close out the festival! 

Those interested in participating must apply for the preliminary round of auditions via Google form & submit a video audition. Application date is TBA.

Kimchi Eating Contest

We're absolutely thrilled to let you know that our Kimchi Eating Contest is making a comeback! Get ready for some spicy fun as volunteers race to finish their bowl of this delicious Korean side dish. Stay tuned for more details!


Dance Workshops by Wonderbox

Wonderbox is a K-pop Cover and competition team at Soundbox Studios that features K-pop-inspired dances, formations, performances, and more. Director Joanna Faulk will lead a beginner workshop from 4:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th, at the K-Village Stage, while Director Gabbie Gozali will instruct an intermediate workshop from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, October 13th, at the K-Village Stage.
